I am someone who was always an artist by soul. I never went to art college, I was told it wasn't sensible for someone who could not afford to fritter life away on dreams. I did study Philosophy snd English and this gives a reasonable explanation to the art which appeals: poetry, paintings of the sea, where I feel at home, and photographs that have questions.

I am interested in the north/south divide, in the haves v have nots and, in particular reference to photography, what can be produced when you don't have the financial or class back up.

Art is outside of working a job. Art is a love and purpose.
