I'm a textile artist and designer working with natural dyes mainly from plants, food-waste and minerals. My work is rooted in ideas around tacit knowledge, slow craft, cycles and heritage. Being half-Bulgarian and half-English growing up in Stoke has deeply informed the way I view the arts, education and craft processes, and as creatives I think we have a lot of power to shape new way of working, of learning. I am currently in my final year of an MA in Textiles at the Royal College of Art, but living and working from my hometown of Stoke-on-Trent, where I share a studio with my sister Nadine, who is a weaver. I work on a wide range of projects moving between fashion, theatre and interior contexts.
