Lauren McLaughlin is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, activist and single mother based in Scotland. She has a BA (Hons) from Central Saint Martins College of Art and is currently working towards her MA in Applied Arts and Social Practice at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Lauren is also the founder of Spilt Milk Gallery CIC; a social enterprise based in Scotland whose mission is to promote the work of artists who identify as mothers, and to empower mothers through socially engaged creative activity.
