ABOUT:

Bryan Ridpath is an artist living and working in Hertfordshire, England. He makes his work using various methods and materials, which range from sculpture, installation, video and photography.

His work often references the contemporary urban landscape through the lens of psychogeography focusing on themes such as: utopian and dystopian aesthetics, sci-fi, mythology, hauntology, architecture, contemporary landscapes, technology, archeology, the working class and the divisions of labour. He explores these themes through materials like: ceramics, plaster, concrete and found objects; as well as using digital manipulation, animation, 3D Modelling and exploring various online art processes.
