ABOUT:

currently developing a theory & practice to help actors align eye movements to fictional characters - involves film-making, drama, neurology and eye movement therapy. my filmwork is feature films - improvised and made with no crew to insist on one agenda in the room. also do therapy for artists and creative industry practitioners - educate home educated youngsters in art and film and photography. looking to create authentic cinema that can be more than a theatre off-shoot for delivering literature. cinema was the first art.... light projecting through holes in tents and cave coverings were the first symbology humans experienced.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
