ABOUT:

Pyro is an illustrator who uses highly detailed structured drawings to convey emotion and atmosphere through their artworks. They specialize in digital and traditional mediums including but not limited to gouache paints, watercoloring, lino printing, working with fabric, and inking.

As an international student from Uzbekistan who has been to many different countries and experienced various cultures, they hold a newfound perspective on their environment which they share in their art making. The development of their skills and the search for new material experimentation pushes Pyro to find their niche as an illustrator, both 2D and 3D media wise.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
