I'm a writer from Cumbria, but have lived in Scotland for over twenty years. My first book, Rural:The Lives of the Working-Class Countryside was published June 2023 by William Collins.
The book is about rural industry, tied housing and the largely unrecorded voices from the past and the present that call the countryside home.
