Discipline:

Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Multidisciplinary Artist

Location:

Brooklyn, New York, United States

ABOUT:

My name is Amelia Stebbing and I am a multi-disciplinary designer and illustrator. Originally, from South Florida, my art is inbued with the boldness and colors of a childhood by the sea. However, my primary stylistic focus is the creepy, surreal, and uncanny, with fantastical characters and unnerving scenes. Therefore, the majority of my work exists in the realm of horror, fantasy, folktales, and other spooky themes.

My main medium is digital, with a particular focus in Photoshop and Procreate. Within my design practice, I love working with collaged elements, music themes, and horror movies. In my professional practice, I aim to collaborate with brands focused on the avant garde, sub culture music, and horror.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
