ABOUT:

Hey! I’m Beccy. I have over fifteen years' experience in highly crafted production, cross-media campaigns and cultural experiences.

With a multidisciplinary mindset I help my clients tell stories to audiences in the most creative and engaging ways. From hi-tech to hand-made, I work with purposeful ideas for social good that shape the cultural conversation, inspire positive change and add to the human experience. Specialising in arts, culture, climate and brand storytelling at the intersection of animation, film, experiential and immersive technology I intuitively connect the dots; seeing trends and opportunity across these areas.

Formerly Executive Producer for Music, Arts & Culture at Nexus Studios - see 'Experience' below.

Selected clients:
Dazed Media, Vice, MelodyVR, Intel, Google, HTC Vive Arts, Tate, Barbican, Universal Music Group, The Comms Lab, Ecover, Greenpeace, Channel 4, BFI x Climate Story Unit

Alongside my work as a creative producer and consultant I’ve developed a successful, climate-driven art-activism practice, which brings extensive experience in ideation, workshopping and outreach. People, place and participation lie at the heart of my interdisciplinary approach; and my socially-engaged work with grassroots communities alongside commissions from world-leading arts & cultural institutions gives me a unique perspective.

Selected commissions & awards:
V&A Museum, Barbican, Hastings Contemporary, Saatchi Art, Dulwich Picture Gallery, O N C A Trust Gallery, Arts Council England 'Develop Your Creative Practice' award

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
