ABOUT:

I am an artist, arts event facilitator and arts educator based in York .
I came back to education as a mature student and completed an Access course in Art & Design at York College in 2012 I then went onto gain a BA Hons in Art & Design Interdisciplinary at Leeds University of Art in 2015. Since then I have become an arts educator and arts event organiser in York where I am based .
My paintings use bold colours , forms and repetitive marks to create abstract expressions inspired by everyday thoughts , feelings and experiences.

They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve.
