Discipline:

Multidisciplinary Artist

Location:

ABOUT:

My work is a raw, unfiltered exploration of survival, identity, and systemic failure. I create because it feels necessary, to reclaim my voice, to process trauma, and to confront the realities that many overlook or deny. My art isn’t polished for comfort, it’s honest, sometimes uncomfortable, and always grounded in lived experience.

I draw deeply from my personal history and cultural roots, weaving narratives of resilience and resistance through visual and written layers. Whether through vivid imagery or blunt storytelling, I aim to expose the cracks in systems that were supposed to protect but instead abandoned me, and countless others, and also celebrate the beauty in between.

Ultimately, my art is a space of reclamation. It is where I make sense of pain, reclaim power, and challenge viewers to see beyond the surface. I don’t create to be palatable: I create to be real. Because sometimes, the truth is the most radical thing we can share.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
