ABOUT:

Gemma's practice is centred on autobiographical explorations of key women’s issues including motherhood, post-natal mental illness and domestic abuse. Her images challenge perceptions of truth and reality.

An early career photographer, Gemma predominantly uses analogue techniques, exploring the use of hand-made props and artwork within her images. She is studying for an MA Photography at Falmouth University.
