Discipline:

Theatre Maker and Artist

Location:

London

ABOUT:

I am a working-class performer, theatre maker and artist from North London. My work is a vibrant fusion of politics and performance, blending social commentary with classic entertainment. Through drag, clown and interactive theatre he invites audiences into a space of dialogue and reflection on both the present and future. My performances have reached theatres, beaches and shopping centres across the UK.

Exploring the forms of cabaret, live art and contemporary theatre, I weave together the personal and the political, creating performances that are both deeply intimate and provocatively communal. My work is driven by a fascination with personalities that evoke profound emotional responses where humour, charm and a sense of theatricality remain central.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
