ABOUT:

I’m an artist working with code as a material.

My practice sits between browser windows and physical space. Building interactive artworks, drawing machines, coded computer generated prints and participatory experiences that invite people to play with technology rather than feel excluded by it.

I’m interested in alternative formats, community infrastructures. Much of my work explores how everyday systems e.g. data, algorithms, public spaces etc. can be reimagined as sites of collective imagination.

Through exhibitions, workshops and cultural projects, I aim to create accessible entry points into creative technology and art for people who might not traditionally see themselves reflected in it.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
