Location:

ABOUT:

I’m a visual artist attempting to respond authentically to the call of self expression. I work in film, moving image and sculpture. The recurring themes across my work are class, race and gender drawing inspiration from folk tales, and radical revolutionary movements. I've made documentaries, digital animations, experimental video work and narrative films. Often starting with my lived experience as a working class gender queer trans man.

My work has been shown and exhibited at National and International venues including The BFI 2016, The ICA 2018 and The Whitechapel Gallery 2020.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
