ABOUT:

I am an actor, writer, facilitator and theatre maker based in Manchester. My unique background as a Cumbrian of Black Mixed Heritage (Malawian & English), a queer, working class and neurodivergent woman, has empowered me to become a powerful voice in the world of theatre. My passion lies in telling stories that often go unheard. I am dedicated to reflecting the diverse experiences of those within our society who don't always have a voice. My work is an inspiring testament to the power of storytelling and its ability to connect us all. I specialize in creating dynamic, engaging performances and stories that resonate. I am passionate about developing new work, collaborating with others, and fostering creativity through facilitation.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
