Liam Scully grew up in a working-class, single-parent household in the seaside town of Bognor Regis.
I make art across drawing, painting, sculpture, video, and performance, exploring everyday life, culture, and politics with humour and texture. I often begin with media or personal anecdotes, transforming them into objects and images, embracing imperfection and slippage. Growing up by the British seaside informs much of my recent work, where spectacle, fragility, and memory surface in various forms.
