A poet living in Poole, exploring love, loss, identity, and womanhood. Through vivid, tactile imagery and
an unflinching voice, she examines resilience, transformation, identity, and the search for authenticity.
Her poem "Help me, love" has been published in the Jawbone Journal, and "Heart of Glass" was longlisted for
the Bournemouth Writing Prize 2026.
A performer at “LitFest 26: SOS Sounds of the Solent”, Marbellys hosts "Be Poetry", a community poetry
workshop on the first Friday of every month and is a regular at poetry events in Dorset.
