Maya takes a muti-disciplinary approach to her practise often exploring underrepresented notions and lived experiences unique to the working class and POC. Through what is often a satirical lens, Maya explores the complexity of identity through her favourite ism's: absurdism, realism and surrealism. 

Maya holds an HE in Theatre Arts, attained at the National Youth theatre and a BA in Acting and Performance UAL where she specialised in performance, dramaturgy, directing, writing and AV.
