ABOUT:

Niko Tampio is a photographer navigating both the fine art and commercial realm without distinguishing between the two. With an eye for detail and color complemented by a strong personal vision he creates captivating and honest imagery across the genres of fashion, still life, architecture and everyday observation. Tampio holds a Master of Arts degree in photography from Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture. Some of the prominent figures he has photographed include Rosanne Cash, Martha Cooper, The Game, Duckwrth, Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz of Onyx. He has published two books Seoul Journal (2019) and Punos (2019). His work has been exhibited globally, most notably in The Finnish Museum of Photography (2023) & The Sibelius Museum (2021). Recently he was granted a title collection in The Hip Hop Museum in New York for his work in hip hop.
