Discipline:

Performance Artist

Location:

ABOUT:

I’m an experimental performance artist/theatre maker/poet/singer-songwriter/fingers-in-all-creative-pies guy from the sea, based in Norwich. My work ranges from all difference aspects of performance, including live art, cabaret and devised performance. I look to blend the mundane with surreal, with comedy being a through point in a lot of my work. I'm particularly interested in how temporality intercepts with art, so a lot of my work takes a durational approach. Within these durational concepts, there tends to lie an underlining element of improvisation that i encourage.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
