Yayen is a Palaweño (Filipino) contemporary artist whose practice responds to and investigates themes of migration, belonging, and resilience. Drawing from his own lived experience as a migrant, his work explores how identity shifts, endures, and evolves through movement and the accumulation of life experiences.
