Natural world/landscape Photographer, Audio field recordist and Documentary maker

Location:

Harrogate, North Yorkshire

ABOUT:

I’m Artemis Swann, a natural world /landscape photographer, field recordist and documentary maker from North Yorkshire. My photography and audio work is aimed at creating a connection with nature to enhance peoples mental well-being using image and sound either separately or together.

I graduated in 2020 from Anglia Ruskin University with a Ba (Hons) in Film and Media Studies where I developed an interest in documentary film and ethical considerations during their production. I am currently applying for an MA in Documentary Filmmaking as I really enjoy storytelling, particularly those who have hobbies or interests that are outside the ‘norm’.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
