ABOUT:

I’m a photographer that is currently studying at university and am exploring mindfulness photography as well as an ongoing invisible illness project that speak of Crohn’s disease and mental health. As an artist I never expect to truly find my style or my muse. The fleeting nature of life thankfully allows us to create a constant work in progress. As a photographer I want to point my lens to the whole. The stillness and the chaos of life is not the opposite but the same, and I want to point my lens in every corner of the world to bring a voice and a name to those who do not.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
