Discipline:

Artist, curator, project coordinator

Location:

West Midlands

ABOUT:

My art practice is based in multimedia and collage. Informed by genre bending, pop culture, animation, horror and queer identity. Focusing on the comedic cartoonal macabre.

In my work as a project coordinator I have over two years experience in community arts and local business. I've held booths at art fairs, organised community projects, led and collaborated with student programs, met funders and proofread contracts. My goal is to continue this work and I aspire to do so in a way which will benefit my local community by offering creative opportunities to anyone/ everyone.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
