ABOUT:

Helen Maguire (she/her) is an Irish artist, dyke and part-time slag. Though crossing over disciplines, her primary media are installation, performance and decorative textiles ranging from embroidery to lace crochet to darning. Her work explores themes of queerness, Irish post-colonialism and craft. Currently situated in London, Helen is a recent Chelsea College of Arts grad and works with transnational textile collection Conflict Textiles.
