ABOUT:

I am a Liverpool-based artist working across illustration, public art, zines, book design, and community projects. My practice is grounded in collaboration, inclusivity, and storytelling, exploring identity and accessibility across galleries, publications, community spaces, and festivals. I aim to create work that invites participation, sparks conversation and engages diverse audiences.

A key focus of my practice is supporting neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and working-class communities. I have collaborated with organisations such as The Whitechapel Centre, Earth Moves Cooperative and Homotopia, delivering projects that combine practical skills with a distinctive, playful approach. I often incorporate humour into my work and enjoy updating familiar iconography for a contemporary context. For example, reimagining the Liver Bird with rollers in her hair, Scouse brows, and 110s to reflect local identity in a funny way.

Across all aspects of my practice, I aim to create environments where individual voices intersect with collective experience. Participation is central, whether through workshops, installations, publications or visual storytelling. By centring collaboration and accessibility, my work offers people the chance to see themselves reflected, connect with others, and contribute to shared creative experiences, transforming art into a space for dialogue, empowerment, and shared expression.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
