6 Photographers we have our eyes on đź‘€!

Working Class Creative Database Highlights: 6 Photographers we have our eyes on đź‘€! These were selected by our Co-Director @chanel.le

“It’s a real pleasure to showcase the works of our members, these works I’ve selected are ones which I’ve gotten to know through our show and tell sessions or in person events. I love how members reflect working class histories through the photographic medium in such diverse ways, and how this gently informs the past and present. Some have been part of our network from the beginning, and we’ve had the pleasure of making lovely relationships with them. Artists like these are crucial to have in order for our histories, politics and narrative to be documented for generations to come to look back on and learn from”

I found it fascinating how the article highlights the way one of the photographers captures ordinary moments and turns them into something striking—it really makes you stop and notice the small details we usually overlook. It got me thinking about how much planning and patience must go into every shot, which seems almost like managing a complex project where keeping everything organized is key. It reminds me of the kind of support students might seek from services like Assignment Help in Luton, not for creativity itself, but to help keep all the pieces aligned so the bigger picture comes together smoothly. I wonder how much trial and error goes into finding the perfect moment to shoot.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
