Have you checked out our Members Map?

Working-class creatives face real barriers in the accessing the arts : from access to education, lack of studio spaces, no networks in the industry and fewer opportunities for connection.

Our Members Map was made so you can find peers nearby to share skills, collaborate, and continue building the work our supportive community, in person.

Our directors are based in Hull and London, and operate across the UK with a strong presence in both the North and South, hosting events, exhibitions, and residencies for our members.

While our network is global, our focus over the past 5 years has been on connecting and empowering working-class creatives locally and nationally. Though we try to host online regularly too.

Explore the full map on our website where you can sign up as a member, or as a supporter too.

We heard 2026 is the year to be a part of community that puts working-class creatives at the forefront.

I started Block Blast while waiting for my nail polish to dry. Every move had to be careful to avoid smudging it.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
