9 Working Class Creatives selected by 3D Women Platform!

We’ve invited @3dwomenplatform to help us spotlight 9 incredible working-class creatives from our database. 🎉

Run by @winnie_hall & @celeste__mcevoy 3D Women was founded to bring together non-binary and women artists working in sculpture, which is how the name 3D Women originated. The concept has since grown into a welcoming, inclusive and supportive platform for women and non-binary artists working in all media with a core mission is to create connections between artists – foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas and experiences. We strive to offer a space where artists from all backgrounds can come together

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
