COME JOIN THE PARTY!

Working Arts Club and Working Class Creatives - two forces advocating for and uplifting working class voices in the arts - are teaming up to throw a party like no other, and you’re invited!

Join us at The Art House from 7-11pm on Thursday 7 August to celebrate the summer and being part of our community with art, music, drinks, performances, and much more. Full line-up coming soon!

The party marks Working Arts Club’s first birthday and five years of Working Class Creatives, and is a celebration of where we come from, what we’ve built together, and everything we’re still dreaming of.

Tickets are £10 and every penny goes towards supporting our work.-----The Art House by Acrylicize provides project, studio, and event space, all to nurture and amplify contemporary arts and culture, with a dynamic public programme spanning visual arts, performance, film, literature, music, and artist residencies.

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
