“NETWORKING IS WEIRD, BUT COMMUNITY IS EVERYTHING”

Three female-founded communities - Working Arts Club, the Association of Women in the Arts and Working Class Creatives Database - are coming together for an interactive evening to rethink networking, acknowledging the good, the bad, and alternative ways people connect.

Members from all three organisations are invited to join us on Thursday 26 June from 6:30pm at Lisson Gallery in London where the group exhibition Finding My Blue Sky fittingly explores themes of belonging and community.

I really enjoyed this perspective. Genuine relationships and supportive communities often create far more meaningful opportunities than simply collecting contacts. Building trust, sharing knowledge, and helping others can lead to lasting personal and professional growth. Every meaningful milestone deserves to be celebrated, whether it's with a 1 Carat Blue Heart Diamond or a 3 Ct Blue Marquise Diamond. Thanks for sharing such an inspiring message!

This sounds amazing! Love the idea of rethinking networking in a real, community-first way. It’s something we even touch on in management assignment help uk—genuine connections really do make all the difference!

SUPPORT WORKING CLASS CREATIVES (1).png

'Working Class Creatives' responds to a need which is too often overlooked in the arts; that of the barriers facing working-class artists from getting on in our sector. They are instrumental in initiating much-needed change that will see the art world become more inclusive and reflect the society it purports to serve. I often search their database in my research, it is a vital resource for any arts professional working in culture today. That they have got this far on so little financial resource is remarkable and I am excited to see what they will achieve with further support.” Beth Hughes, Curator, Arts Council Collection.
